Two fur colors are low rez and only ONE male hairstyle looks decent.
They also removed facial hair texture for males. Now facial hair looks like cardboard glued on my pandas face!
Pandas not being a popular race is no excuse for this mediocrity! It’s infuriating seeing the stuff humans and elves got, AND THEY STILL COMPLAIN! Gnomes got more love than us and they’re not a popular race either.
NOT ONLY DID WE GET THE LEAST AMOUNT OF CUSTOMIZATION LOVE, BUT THEY ALSO RUINED WHAT GOOD THAT REMAINED!
GIVE US GLOWING EYES LIKE TARAN ZHU, CHEN AND SHAOHAO!
GIVE MALES THEIR FACIAL TEXTURES BACK!
UPREZ WHAT PITIFUL AMOUNT OF NEW FUR COLORS YOU ADDED!
GIVE OPTION TO REMOVE EYE SPARKLE ON ALL RACES OR ALLOW US TO KEEP OLD EYES BECAUSE THE NEW ONES ARE TOO BIG!

Transmog and character creation is one of the few untampered-with things left that I enjoy about this game.
It’s not about how my character looks during gameplay necessarily, but for the sake of the time I spend creating transmog for all my characters and trying to perfect how they look. I cannot brear (no pun intended) to see how broken and unnatural they look now, it’s quite angering.
People develop an emotional connection to their characters. I’ve been playing my Pandaren monk since I started during Mists, we have been through sh*t.
I was looking at the new customization on the PTR and was shocked to see how little the Pandaren got. What a disappointment.
Was really hoping to see fur colors that represented other bear species. I would have loved a full on white polar bear option for my Frost DK.
Also, some actual new faces would be nice. All the face option does for Pandaren is change the markings on their face. I want actual face options that change the shape and structure.
I don’t think customization is the only place they got shafted; it felt like they got shafted right out of the gate, making them kind of a dumpy meme race. Pandaren could have been really cool, but it always felt like a big swing and a miss.
I would have loved a new non-smiley face since all the existing ones look so whimsical. After this I don’t have my hopes up for them to even fix what they broke.
I knew about the problems when they were first datemined, but I waited because it was still beta. I’m freaking out now because customization updates are slow to non-existent in beta builds + they are testing pre-patch on PTR.
I understand that but a lot of people still enjoy them for the lore and don’t mind how they look. I try to make them work with what little transmog we can make.
To be fair, Pandas already had an absolute ton of customization out the gate. Currently on PTR they have 21 fur colors to choose from and 20 or so mustaches and beards.
I’m not upset about the lack of new stuff as much as I’m upset about the facial hair texture removal and the quality of what little they added.
I completely agree with you, Pandaren have enough customization. But that’s not an excuse for them to ruin what already exists or cut corners in what they add.
