The item is intended to give pandaren stats via their well fed racial “epicurean” where they would otherwise be lacking compared to other races and could could be consumed anywhere in the game, most notable in rated pvp including arenas.
However it seems to have slipped through the cracks for the release of dragonflight and still gives the same amount of versatility points at level 70 as it did back in shadowlands at level 60, that being 21 before calculating the racial which doubles it to 42 or roughly 1% versatility total at level 60. This is not only unfortunate as it has been updated to reflect new food stat increases every expansion until now, but it also puts pandaren players at a direct disadvantage in pvp for the time being.
The arena season has started and there has been no comment on this, pandaren food is STILL using shadowlands numbers.
What the heck is going on? Are we just gonna get shafted this expansion or what?
