Pandaren in WC3:3 just look so good!

Why can’t ours be this cool? I’m trying to think what’s so fundamentally different. They’re the same shape. Still fat, still with short legs. But these ones just look better overall. I guess the outfits count for a lot. And I would love the fur pattern on the non-Chen fire spirit. I guess maybe they look stronger across the chest and shoulders. Either way it makes me sad to see these and then go back to looking at mine in WoW.

Its not the same fat. The ones in the picture are strong fat like power lifters, thus the strong chest/shoulders you mentioned…the ones in game are jelly fat all over.

I dont mind WoW pandas when they are standing still, but I cant play them because of their belly “bounce” when they move.

Osnap that is swank.

But… different games, different engines. Hopefully they can work on it for WoW, though. I’d love this option.

Historically I’ve been quite fond of them. I think maybe it’s because ive played kul tirans so much this expansion, who are strong fat, that now going on my dear old panda his roundness looks especially severe.

I’ll take that sword for xmog pls.

I don’t like those models for pandaren kind of scary looking.

Why are his chichis so big?

I’m inclined to think our current Panda’s are cuter.

Credit where credit is he looks badass and I would not want to be on his badside.

In my mind, mine does look this good.

That’s the best part.

Looks mainly to just be a different art style.

Very much so. I do get that. And I do defend the cartoonishness of WoW’s artstyle. But that’s not the part that i think makes those reforged pandarens look cooler.

I’ve looked at them more since i made this thread. Some of the other details i love apart from the outfits and that fur pattern:

  • They scowl. I would love some actual different faces for them in WoW. Ours have one face with different fur patterns.
  • They have that long moustache that is actually part of their muzzle fur. That looks cool.
  • Back muscles. They have them.
