What are your guys thoughts on this?
Should it be different depending on the faction your Pandaren is on?
Im kinda hoping its not some generic monk-style armor but i think im being a bit naive on that one.
What would you like to see for Pandaren Heritage armor?
One of those samurai hats that Chen is wearing in the mop cinematic is a must
An actual straw hat that doesn’t look like a plate, or the shado-pan helmet without the scarf.

No hope for a farmer outfit / generic shado pan outfit though, those won’t be touched.
I really like the set from SoO for monks. The plate set from LFR Throne of Thunder looks really cool for warriors, too.
Heritage Armor reflects the races not factions, it encompasses the race as a whole. I think Faction specific heritage armor for Pandaren would detract from what makes heritage armor what it is. Their heritage is not the factions they joined in MoP, that’s relatively new for them.
I think faction specific armors for them would take away from what the armor represents and I do not think its a good idea.
You have to admit they look cool af though
The faction pandaren hail from Shen-zin Su. So obviously their heritage armor will be a giant shell on their back. To honor the turtle you must become the turtle. 
The racial class armors Chihao posted? Dude, the guy or gal who does those is AMAZING at what they do. I really like the Human Paladin Racial Armor artwork for how it harkens back to WC2 days.
On the topic of Pandaren, I kinda wish Pandaren had kept Samwise’s original Japanese inspired designs over the Chinese designs. I honestly thought the original Japanese designs looked way better 
Well… To me at least, that’s a very opinionated statement on my part.
Man… Pleated Kimono Pants would look so cool in WoW, I also love the Jade weapon and armor accents and designs in the original designs of Pandaren that he did.
The one set I would want for heritage armor for the Pandaren would be like the concept drawings that Samwise initially did that inspired them, but it wont fly ,Samurai Armor. Yes Blizz did actually say in the past they could not do the Samurai Armor on them because the Chinese see Pandas as sacred animals and that putting them in Japanese armor was insulting due to their history with Japan. That being said I think they look much cooler in Sam Didier’s Samurai armor than most of their gear.
True but the design of those different armors could focus more of the philsophical schools of thought that seperate the Pandaren.
The Houjin and the Tushui.
This would still keep in line with the Heritage aspect but differentiate them from each other.
I feel like blizz could really make some unique armors for the different schools, and not just color one blue and one red.
But again i think that might be too optimistic.
