This is projection. They’re not being killed. You (people like you) are addicted to mog farming and giving them money hand over fist. It’s why they stopped trying with Retail - no matter the quality of the content as long as they give you a mount you keep playing.
Look who is projecting. Btw I don’t care about mounts or pets.
Also it’s about a concept known as Gaslighting. When people tell you one thing and then do the opposite.
Corporate gaslighting is a huge problem with most companies this day and age.
Sounds fun. Just remember it’s meant to be fun and not sweaty. SoD people missed this lesson.
Sod is fun. I had a blast in ST.
If you want some mogs and access to Ordos if you don’t have it already, then I’d say yes.
Yeah I’ve been putting off leveling races I don’t have and this is a prime opportunity. The weird thing is it doesn’t sound like you need to manually move them as they said you’ll get extra slots for them which almost makes it seem like it could be a 10-70 exiles reach.
I would add an asterisk to that, because the line in the article that originally said that has been since removed.
This seems even more relaxed as you’ll literally be decimating mobs more than sod as every power I’ve seen seems far stronger than 75% of a class’s runes(1-2 per class in sod are stronger or more influential).
I am concerned about mob respawn or quest competition as mobs will possibly be 1-2 shot.
Interesting. So maybe it will be specific realms requiring transfer. If that happens you know you’ll have people having a tantrum if they miss the widely publicized deadline they’ll give.
There are quite a few areas in MOP with forced mob spawns assuming you get the right number of people in those areas. Farming can be plentiful (and I expect mat prices to tank accordingly about 3 weeks in).
The fix is to HEAVILY incentivize quest and dungeon completion, and pull back on per mob exp earned. If that’s the case, it’s best to be a very early mover or just wait 2-3 days for the initial swell to clear out the first few questing areas and stretch out a bit.
I’m less concerned with mob quests as much as I am with item or interaction quests. Go pick up 6 barrels can become a 20 min slog if participation is high enough. I was part of MOP launch though and I don’t recall being too frustrated, maybe it won’t be too bad.
Doesn’t have to be a pandaren. I am thinking about running a vulpera shaman through it.
Eh I doubt crafting will be worth it. Dungeons will probably be 1 and done as all the metas want you to complete zones I think(as the likely option people will take).
It’s just Chromie Time on steroids. That’s all.
“The crap of retail”
Geriatrics HATE pressing more than 2 buttons lmao.
Blizzard is giving me something newish to try that rewards things I want. I don’t see a problem.
I’m excited for this.
And the the funny thing is I have most of the old mounts already and I don’t care that other people can get them.
It seems like a fast paced, blow things up, get some cool stuff newish experience. So, absolutely worth a try before making a final judgement.
No I have not, hence why I said it but I would like to not have an entire patch **** canned and given “new” stuff (pssssst, it’s not new. they’re baiting you with zero effort old content that sparkles) in the place of.
I’m more than fine with them experimenting with stuff like this and making it fun, in fact I’ll probably be having a lot of fun with it instead of the uninspired “awakened” raids, but not at the cost of a whole season. Absolutely zero people wanted another fated season in place of a major patch so that they could make a low tier BR and MoP Season of Discovery just to try and maintain sub numbers.
