I’ve tried relogging, completely exiting battle.net. I’ve tried hearthing to pawdon village. my character is stuck in combat and I can’t find the what or why

Shocked this isn’t getting more attention. It is getting really annoying having to die in order to mount.

same here, have to close the wow window and log back in.

This is terrible. I just killed myself to get out of combat. Then I fought someone who spawned an enemy. I killed the main guy and his spawn vanished. I’m still in combat… again

I logged out stuck in combat and now I’m crashing every time I log back in

this has happened to me once, I completely exited the game and logged back in and was good.

Even vanish and shadowmeld do not fix the stuck in combat bug. i had to hearth to fix it.

Was stuck in combat with nothing alive or hostile near me, tried hearthing, nope. Since my remix toon is a paladin, I tried bubble hearthing, nope. Ended up walking most of the way from Terrace of Ten Thunders to Dawn’s Blossom village in Jade Forest. Couldn’t log off to clear the combat until I went inside the inn and waited out a 20-second count down, inside the inn. This happened twice while working through the quests in the Terrace of Ten Thunders area.

Yep happening to me as well, and every time I reload I get a Lua error for their own action bar ui. Something is seriously borked.

Not a fix, but one solution for being stuck in combat is to jump on the Magical Snow Sled toy. I’m not sure WHY it removes combat in 99% of cases, but it does. It’s a weird, but useful for troubleshooting, item.

Also running into the in combat bug. I assumed the first few times it was mob stuck under the ground in the starting areas, but its happening more often now as I progress.

Just got this 3 times in a row. Unbearable and embarrassing that this bug is still okay to have after all these years.

Just got stuck in combat again, after dropping it, from TURNING IN A QUEST. Thats right, I got flagged for combat turning in a quest in a town with no mobs around. Didnt flag me till I talked to the npc.

I can hearth, eat, use pots but only mounts get blocked and say ‘in combat’.
