So I recently faction transferred from alliance to horde. A campaign quest is showing on my map in Jade forest but I cannot see it to pick it up so I can progress through the story line here.
The quest is called: Seeking Zin’Jun
I’ve rebooted, deleted cache and wtf directories and the typical song and dance of UI resets, loading with no addons yet this quest marker still shows on the map but no NPC to talk to.
It’s blocking me from progression through and I am wondering if someone can give me tips on how to fix.
Edit: I’ve tried opening a support ticket but its putting me through a loop of things to pick when I chose In-game issues > Quests and achievements. This quest isn’t on the list so I cannot even progress further to create a ticket.
Faction issues can cause issues, so there may not be anything you can do about it yourself. There’s a Wowhead comment for that quest saying that it looks like the only option is to get a GM to put the quest in your log. Which, first means you have to navigate the help system to actually put in a ticket (look for options like "my problem is something else and keep picking those) and then you need to get a GM who won’t just say it’s a bug and to post a report on it. Even worse, with the patch landing tomorrow, I suspect that ticket times are going to be insane, and that responses are going to be much more likely to be the quick “Oh, well” type responses.
At this point, you can hope that the patch tomorrow fixes it. Otherwise, I think you’ll just need to accept that you can’t to the questline on that character for Remix. If you need it for the achievement, roll a different character. If you care about completion, then post in the bug report forum and they will probably fix it at some point. Just be aware that “some point” may be way in the future.
I did managed to figure out creating a ticket, which didn’t help much other than to be told what I already asssumed.
I did read that wowhead page that it’s probably a bug and it probably won’t get fixed, I’ll be shocked if it does get fixed but not a huge problem, I can still power my cloak through other means but it would of been nice to play through the jade forest as horde

Well I figured out how to flip to the correct phase, I grouped up with a friend who didn’t complete the quests and enabled party sync and was able to go through and get what I needed
