Panda racials need some love

Pandas are fun and the laid back nature of them is iconic and what I want in a race. That said the racials are not great in PvE or PvP situations.

Epicurean - Unusable in Arenas, post B-Rez.

Quaking palm - requires melee range + breaks when hit with anything is a bad combo, Too short duration. Shares DR with everything that has a longer duration in PvP limits usage. Too long of a CD.

Fixes:
1.) Give Pandas some ability that can be used in arenas to grant a small food buff or just give pandas a little extra primary stat in Arenas.

2.) Make quaking palm also knock the target back 20 yards out of melee range.

Neither of these fixes would make panda the goto race for PvP or PvE by any means, but they would give them some actual flavor and unique usage.

Bro, panda racial is amazing for PVP. Get it set up to a focus target as well for some quick counter play fun! (possibly a mouseover one if you prefer)

I personally love the ability to jump off cliffs without a care. I don’t realize how often I do it until I make the jump on another character and splat against the rocks.

I have it mouseover and it pretty much gets relegated to something to use as a peel ability on non-kill target DPS. The problem with it is either it is wasting a DR since the duration is too short or by the time you jump over and use it and then get back on your target the duration has faded. If it were AMAZING for PvP then the representation in arenas wouldn’t be so bad.

I like bouncy too in the open world, but it rarely helps in M+ or Raids and does nothing in Arena.

Quaking Palm is sleeper OP. The move (Pika, Wizk, Jellybeans, and Absterge) plays all Panda for RPS.

Buy Panda noodles from Stormshield / Whatever the Horde ones called

I did it today on one of my pandas… it was a bit too high and he was a flat panda. I almost fell off my chair laughing.

I’d suggest to make Epicurean be able to copycat any food of your choice (like when you select a spell with a glyph)… So it will let you eat (without charges) by just clicking it and get the 100% bonuses it usually grants of course.

Pandaren are overall the best race in the game. For every single class/spec they can roll they sim top 3, if not #1. Epicurean is incredible. Quaking Palm is amazing in PvP if you know how to use it properly – it’s a shame people slept on it for years.
