They donât own the ârightsâ to bears that have panda coats though. So games with grizzly bears wearing black and white coats will be fine. 
So, Blizzard had to pay China for the rights for pandaren to be in game? Sure, let me know when you come up with a source.

I donât think thereâd be any issues adding a Panda mount.
Do I think Blizzard would do it? I have no idea. They seem to add things in game based on relevance, popularity, charity events or monetization. A panda mount isnât relevant and isnât based on a charitable cause, so it would need to become a popular idea or be associated with the in game store or Prime content.
I will say former connections with Tencent and being relevant in China would have been an obstacle but after the statue toppling and game banning fiasco I donât think thereâs any issues left.
We have panda pets and panda-ish characters. I donât think an actual panda mount is out of the question.
