Hello fellow panda enthusiasts. With Pandaria Remix launching I thought this was to be the golden age of panda-kind. However, Blizzard has now released 2 sets with a missing element for the OG kung fu hustlers.
The Murloc onesie still has no feet.
Now the Murloc pool floatie does not appear on Panda’s either.
So this leads me to 1 of 3 conclusions.
- Blizzard hates Pandas.
- Blizzard doesn’t want Panda’s to have Murloc fits.
- Blizzard is going to do a model update and they can’t be bothered to make this stuff fit on the old model.
Pandaren are still missing a heritage armor so we could be seeing a model update coming along with it. Perhaps the heritage armor is going to be fully Murloc themed and they want to save all the cooking for that?

While that would be greatly appreciated, I’m guessing it’s probably just a bug in a game that’s full of them.

Honestly, I hope they don’t update Pandaren. They’ve ruined most races for me with their model updates.

Why? They have the same graphical quality of most of the races.
Remember that they made the race update right after Pandaria, in WoD. They probably used the Pandarem as graphical standart to update the main races.

I’m not getting my hopes up.
It’s clear that Blizzard thinks the pandaren models are good enough, otherwise we would have been updated back with the other races.
I’m ready to be proven wrong Blizzard, but I’m not buying into the idea of an update.

Pandaren were the first updated race. It was the newest race in the game when the other updates were announced.
That does make it the oldest now, but I don’t think it’s of significantly worse quality than the others.
More customization is always welcome.
I’ll be honest, Panda player. Most updated model got so many errors in them and clipping issues. The Pandaren is from an era when Blizzard cared and the first HD race.
You don’t want a model update.

I really hope that it becomes an option. If it can work on the other larger races, surely there’s a way to make it work for pandaren.
Yeah the fact the murloc feet and pool floatie work on Tauren but not Pandaren is wild.
I forgot that any race can be a mage now. Saw Highmountain Tauren Mage and though "how did he get a hacked character on here?
Anyway, I support any model and customization update. Let’s do it. Make them pandas even cuter.

I’m not saying it shouldn’t happen. There are a lot of bugs and quirks with the current model that makes it so we could really use it. I’m just saying it won’t happen because it already would have if they wanted to.
Also pandaren have never been updated as far as I’m aware. We’ve been the same since MoP excluding bugs like the neck seam bug that have popped up.
Pandaren were the first of the current models. Others were brought up to their level.
Yeah I mean look at the new moonkin model. It’s belly shakes like crazy. We shaked first, but now we shake the worst.

A model update would be nice, but I’m more interested in what their eventual Heritage set and questline will be. After replaying the MoP stuff I assume the heritage quest will probably be about Yu’lon’s statue getting rebuilt so she can finally do her rebirth thing?
I wouldn’t say “most”, personally, but they did downgrade quite a few. Humans are virtually unplayable for me now.
Actually a lot of the male models in general, now that I think about it.
The two that stick out the most for me as far as male models go…
Male Nelfs with the way their neck juts forward. Male Worgen with that stupid run and those outrageously over the top swinging shoulders. And those gawd awful feet looking at them from behind.
