Not sure about you but having a panda like bear form would be sick.

What models would you give a Panda Druid for their forms?

basically all the monk spec beast and with turtle as the balance morph.

why turtle?
master yoshi is the turtle hermit and he shoots kamehameha

Guardian: Ox
Feral: Tiger
Balance: not sure
Swimming - Turtle
Travel - Crane
Flying - cloud serpent

IF they did…
I’d give them a yak form for travel (not the mog yak size).
The crane for flight form.
The tiger for feral/cat form.
Not sure for balance or bear forms.
Maybe ox for bear form.

Was more meaning a bear form with the black and white like a panda.

Celestial models after their actual Wild Gods:

  • Guardian form = Niuzao
  • Feral form = Xuen
  • Resto doesn’t have a form
  • Balance form = Yu’lon coloration of Astral form with crackling lightning
  • Travel form = Chi-Ji

The Ox Idea is all well and fine but so far the various guardian forms share the same basic skeleton.
Look at the Zandalari Guardian form, it is a weird fat bear-shaped lizard thing that pretty much attacks just like a bear.

Perhaps those stone dog things could use the swipe/maul animations?

The Balance forms don’t. So there’s no reason they couldn’t have a different rig and animations for ox form.

This actually sounds like a cool glyph idea. I want to hear those feet go papapapapapapap.

Panda bear for uh, bear form. Red panda or Black and white are acceptable.
Chinese mountain cat for cat form or just a straight up tiger would be acceptable.
Bipedal Quillen for balance form.
Jiuweihu (look it up) for ground travel form.
Unique cloud serpent for flight travel form.

Perhaps, but just because there’s “no reason why” won’t make it happen.
I mean, there’s no reason why DH cant fly using their wings but they don’t.

I just don’t see this happening even if they made Panda druids unless they change all druids

I would saying giving the player base more options and freedom with their class/race fantasy is enough reason ‘why’ they should consider it.

It always seemed weird to me that Panda’s weren’t allowed to be druids seeing how they are an actual bear.

It’s not about being an animal. It’s about having a connection to Wild Gods and the Emerald Dream. Which, they do now that the Celestials— which are Wild Gods— are no longer cut off from the rest of the Wild Gods.

Yes, panda druids need to be a thing. Right now.

It would be cool if they gave the Chi-Ji/crane models a real flying animation so it could be both land and flying travel form.

And swim form could be a koi fish. Because I’d really like that.
