I seem to remember someone from Blizz once declaring that Panda’s would NOT EVER be able to be a DK because they were never around during the reign of Arthas, and thus would never have had a reason to be considered for the DK class.
But now we get to see panda DK’s rolling around on us? Why not just completely remove all race/class restrictions then and let us have Draenei/Lightforged Warlocks and Rogues, Night Elf Shaman (which honestly should have been a thing to begin with anyway), Orc/Undead Paladins, Gnome Druids, Worgen Monks, Tauren/Highmountain Mages, and every other class able to be whatever they want to be?
Death knights have easy requirements. You just need to die and have someone raise you. It has nothing to do with your culture and traditions. The lore is Bolvar raised a new generation of death knights, allowing all the new races after Wrath to become them. They found a reason to do it.

It’s actually rather horrible - the kind, warm eyes aren’t here anymore. Only a cold, lifeless gaze. The taking of life means nothing now - this is a horrible fate for a Pandaren.
Im right there with ya. But I gave up on voicing my opinion over it and many other majorly IGNORANT decisions Activi$ionBlizzardIon make because they will NEVER listen to the majority. They only care about moderating for their favorites and listening to a “secret elite few”. In their eyes, everyone else can just deal with it or get out.
That was before Pandaren, who were around during the reign of Bolvar, fought and died during the Fourth War, where Bolvar, being the current Lich King while Pandaren were around, decided he wanted new Death Knights.
