I want to say that I’ve genuinely changed my opinion about prestige and exclusivity after reading the critiques and comments from everyone here on the forum. Just to add some extra information,
It seems that this issue is not limited to Paladins. From what I’ve seen, all classes appear to have access to their Mythic +15 artifact color variants, even if they never earned them during the original Legion expansion.
I’m not 100% sure, but it looks like every artifact appearance tied to the +15 achievement might have been unintentionally unlocked.
So this might be a global transmog restriction bug affecting all artifact weapons, not only the Burning Reprisal Ashbringer.
can you provide a link to where it was posted to ONLY be exclusive to the original legion expansion or is that something you just made up?

the burning reprisal ashrbinger was from doing the Balance of Power questline. The green variant was from doing a +15 key but with the M+ squish it was never updated. It was never “locked” to getting it in legion. Just doing a +15 key became harder.
Doing a +15 key in legion is currently easy peasy.
Edit: it was updated to +5 key as posters below mentioned.

if your referring to the one thats also connected to the balance of power questline then that was automatically given to everyone upon finishing balance of power

It was not available exclusively in Legion, completing a +15 in any M+ season with your artifact transmogged does it (at least it worked before the recent M+ level squish).

I just logged onto my pally to check this. The green skin is for doing a Mythic +5 at anytime.
I also logged onto my hunter, no m15 serpentbite skin. What classes are you seeing getting these?

I have it on my hunter. I believe my warlock also has it each class has a different color cause warlocks is purple and orange depending on what artifact you have.

People can obtain the keystone one just fine, it never went away.
(2021 starter have the keystone variants for Druid)

thats old news since they now updated the achievement to say +5 keystone so if anyone did a plus 5 or higher back then guess what you got it.

Prestige of early adopters you mean. You had your attention and whoa’s when it was current content. Now? No one cares. Most new players don’t even know where it’s from and if they learn that it’s no longer available they instantly lose interest in your reminiscence of how awesome you were in your prime.

Pretty sure this is a Troll post but in the event it isn’t… Pay attention and look up the skins on WoWhead.
“Burning Reprisal” is not a Mage Tower skin. It is a Mythic+ skin after doing Balance of Power… Guess what? You can go back and do Legion mythics with ease. Sort of like doing legacy content? Yeah. Just like that. It’s not a “challenge” to get. It’s not “unavailable”. It’s just… there.

It was originally going to be exclusive to legion, but they backtracked on it before the expansion ended. So you’re correct.
