Proof
Clearly he was outplayed.
Lol yea. Gm reck paladins that have pre stored reckoning charges will do that.
Best to avoid hitting them if your a rogue, fury warrior, cat Druid or hunter(especially the pet). That’s just fuel for the tank.
Same guy right? Good lord his reactions to getting one shot crack me up. Classic is random asf.
Hahaha. This made me laugh so hard. Yeah that’s him.
The face of despair.
I feel like rogues need a good 1 shot death every now and then. They get too cocky with stealth and the ability to stun lock everyone to death.
That’s not a knife.
Now that’s a knife…
Also since it was totally in vanilla lets rollback the reckoning hotfix… #nochanges?
gol
(10 characters)
Except it’s 1.12 well after reckoning was fixed #nochanges

I don’t think this means what you think it means.
Paladins, mages and rogues were the most op in classic.it was fun doing windfury 1 shots with my 2hd enhancement shaman ok a paladin mite have taken 2 shots with windfury…i cant wait for the good old days.
Ret was dangerous to melee, but if you had even semi competent casters/hunters on your team, that ret died a horrible horrible death… particularly if there was a rogue around to hold the ret in place.
As a warlock, the scariest thing about 99% of rets was their damn eye for eye spell hitting me back after i hiroshima’d their faces off.
My rogue alt simply avoided fighting them at all costs, unless there was a caster around to murder them, while I just hemo-stunlocked and for the setup… Gives the caster a chance to play tea ball and hit a home run XD
What about a straight up 1v1 between an Arms Warrior and Ret Paladin? Same gear as each other roughly and no help from other classes?
The ret should win every single time, and if the ret has engineering then the warrior might as well just walk away from the keyboard… even if the warrior had engineering and the ret didnt it wouldnt make any difference at all because paladins can counter nearly everything in engineering… rocket helm:bubble, mindcontrol cap:bop, net:freedom, grenade:bubble, deathray:stun… theres litterally nothing a warrior can do against a good ret… reckoning or deep ret.
Answer what do you think it means to me? We’re getting 1.12 based client, are we not? I don’t want any changes from 1.12 based client. 1.12 talents, 1.12 based itemization, 1.12 based threat, 1.12 based AV. 1.12 based debuff slots, Granted all of those didn’t happen in 1.12 they were all done by 1.12.1.
Obviously the only thing that should be limited which is exactly what most private servers do is limit raid content at launch.
I mean unless you’re okay with tier 2 looking like quest greens, casters being able to use two trinkets at once, there being no DR on cc, warlocks not having death coil, reckoning one shotting world bosses, 5 man dungeons being able to be raided. I could go on, or we could just have 1.12 with a content progression which is so far what we have been told were getting.

Rank 14 paladin one shots pve-geared (looked like t2?) rogue. Seems about right.
Paladins will deny being OP and say they need a buff because they don’t top meters and are only viable not optimal in PvE.
He had a pre recking bomb charged up.
This will not be the case in classic since you cannot use /sit macro to build those charges on NPC’s.
This is private server only.
Yikes…
They aren’t OP in any aspect of the game, when playing as a dps… If anything, they’re a BOTTOM tier class in both pve and pvp as a dps spec.
As for the worthless “viable but not optimal comment” that keeps getting parroted around here… Let’s say you have no access to any form of transportation beyond walking, You are offered a job 10 miles away (meaning you’d spend every day walking 10 miles before work, and then 10 miles back from work)… That’d be an entirely viable, but not optimal commute/job situation according to you guys’ logic… when the reality is saying it’s theoretically posible to be done, doesn’t mean it actually gets done in reality.
The reality of the hybrid dps situation is that 9 out of 10 times, that ret gets laughed at for wanting to raid as ret, then put on ignore when he sends a second tell saying that he was both serious and promises that he is “viable”.
People don’t care about “viable”… They care about you bringing half (or less) of the value over someone who didn’t choose wrong at the character select and having to carry the difference because you wanted to be a snowflake, and saying Ret is “viable” doesn’t mean a damn thing when most of the ones who want to raid are stuck sitting in Stormwind or Ironforge on raid nights. Viable in theory is an entirely worthless argument in reality.
