Horde racials are irrelevant when alliance have paladin. Stop trying to bring it up as a reason you suck and lose.

Shamans are easy to focus down. Big pally CDs win the early fights just because they can stay alive.

Just FYI, you’re never using windfury totem over grounding cause grounding is like your only defensive ability, lol, and chain heal isn’t going to keep someone alive in PVP, slow cast for little health.
Idk man whenever there’s like 3 ele shamans in a team fight and they all do the spell batch chain lighting combo its pretty cancer. There’s hardly anything you can do against that damage.
Also, why do we NOT have nature reflectors.

I agree…and honestly…even if i was alliance which I am not. Paladin healsers for group PVP in a battleground scenario are the best thing there is. Better than any other class and role. Yes even better than Orc stun resist.
So many tools…so much armor, so many heals, so many resets with bubbles and ability to bubble others. They are the only healer that just stands there. That should tell you something.
Alliance you blame racials alot but i said it months ago. Watch when naxx comes out paladin healers are all people will complain about. well its already starting to show.

Except shamans can literally just melt people in PVP. And Pallys can just… stand there for a while I guess.
My job in BGs is to pretty much chase the warrior, drop WF, then spam heal him. Of course if I need to use grounding defensively to stay alive I will, but for most mages you’re better off just trying to make them dead fast. If they’re not dead a gcd or 2 after earth shock, or if there’s multiples, I’ll drop grounding, and ideally twist and never lose WF.
With gear available right now you can very nearly, or sometimes actually 1 shot people with an elemental mastery chain/shock combo. It’s up there with trinketed mages on delete potential. And you get to do it every 3 minutes.
The thing is, even after what I said above a paladin is always going to be more useful in a team fight than a shaman. On top of buffs, bop, freedom, and everything else, they’re the closest thing to mana batteries in classic. Shamans need to drink like every 30 seconds, so that’s why we generally need to kill people fast.
Just FYI, you’re wrong.
Shamans drop WF for the warriors, then start doing damage. Let the priests worry about dispelling/shielding your team from whatever the grounding totem would have soaked up.
