Another reminder and ask of the developers to upgrade the look of the paladin’s consecration visual effect. It looks like complete (redacted). Can we get the spell upgraded and brought forth to 2025.

It dosent seem so bad. It is shiny and light-y, you can kinda tell where the effect ends…
Maybe make it not so much “earthquake” and more “holy sigil on the ground” I suppose
yeah, i recall this - wasn’t it a stained glass look? kind of an expanded version that happens when lightsmith uses their sacred weapon or holy bulwark ability as you can see here
Even the NPCs using consecration in the Priory of the Sacred Flame dungeon looks a ton better than the players’ spell.
This is what they were going to change it into back in BFA I think but abandoned it.

yeah, i remember that. still looks - to me - like they incorporated a massively scaled-down version for Lightsmight. Would like that new consecrate you have here, tho!

please give them a holy fire ring or something that acutally looks cool. like the idea of the glass stain too but also make that look better lol

I’m not a huge fan of the specific design itself*, but the general aesthetic looks is pretty swanky. …that said, Consecration is just about the only spell we have that still looks like it always has. I’d be sad to irrevocably lose that.
*: It looks like a sun, which would be perfect for PalaBeefs, but for others (especially Nelfadins if/when we get them), eh… Also, the eight-points outer part with the six parts inside just irks me in ways I can’t quite articulate.
I’m ok with it. Unholy Dk’s Defile is kinda underwhelming. Like a grey puddle.
So just get 40 paladins or so to crash the server.
And just bring 40 shamans along because tradition.
