It annoys me seeing mobs use a smaller version of what should’ve been our updated aoe in the mega dungeon for the horde encounter. They were worried about visuals blocking stuff as if we don’t already have a ton of that along with mechanics that have the same color as floors, never mind that like 99% of the players have addons that shout at them if they were standing in something bad anyways.

I can’t think of any real meaningful reason as to why we got shafted on the aoe that isn’t already countered by an addon.

Agreed, consecrate has had the same visual since vanilla WoW, it needs a new one.

In my opinion the visual effect of consecration needed an update long time ago. The same goes for death and decay.

There was a new animation for it in the bfa beta, but it never went live. It did get used by one of the bosses in dazar alor though.

It’s used by the Paladin mobs in Rise too.

make it red. like the Venthyr consecration.

Bruh the shadowmoon dungeon with the purple ground and purple swirlies… what tf are devs thinking xD

If you looked at the 10.2.5 patch notes you’d notice they are doing away with shadowland appearannces for abilities, and are trying to go back to class themed colors. I dont think they would do a red consecration for the baseline, but it could make a nice glyph.

Recolor of the Ring of Frost might work. :wrench::robot:

I would have loved this. It looks like stained glass!

Yeah, why did they decide to scrap this! This is exactly what I would expect!

do you sometimes forget there is a Glyph profession?

I often do.

My main is ret and I agree, also Dnd for DKs needs a visual update and a complete rework for Frost.

Fun fact, consecration was going to get a visual update but they pulled it before it went live. You can see what we could have had if you fight Lothar in the Dawn of the Infinite mega dungeon. Neat!
