Paladin's Avenger's Shield slow cannot be removed by pvp trinkets that remove slowing effects

Makes more sense and would be more balanced in the long run. It’s the natural progression of what PvP trinkets do anyway give that they eventually became that, and function that way in other similar games (like FFXIV’s PvP trinket equivalent for example)

Because a fundamental change to a pretty core part of the pvp experience is larger and has more repercussions than just fixing a skill tacked onto a class that isn’t even designed to have it in the first place.

If you’re going to make a large change to pvp trinkets then I would hope the reasoning would be better than “that one buggy skill we added doesn’t work quite like other comparable skills”.

It’s a much healthier take that results in a net positive for everyone instead of a whiny post blaming anything except their ability to play the game on why they lost against someone.

It’s really not. There’s zero repercussions to making PvP trinkets function in the way that they eventually evolved to. It’s a net gain to be able to cleanse all CC’s with a PvP trinket and only serves to make PvP function in a more balanced manner.

Tanky shamans doing 400+ damage is completely normal and should not be touched.

It changes plenty of matchups. I can see it being a net positive but its not certain and it definitely is a large change compared to most other changes.

Ironically though even if they did change pvp trinkets to work on everything the current functionality of Avenger’s Shield would still make it unaffected by a pvp trinket. It is currently not obeying the rules of every other player casted cc in the game.

oh if you’re asking for trinket to remove ALL forms of CC that’s ridiculous :expressionless: much simpler just to fix avenger’s shield.

Yeah it’s so ridiculous to want everyone to get equal treatment instead of crying to nerf a class because it finally has one move on a 30 second cooldown that allows it to actually do what it’s supposed to, which is fight in melee range.

Its the only pvp daze in the game and unless the trinket says it removes daze then its working properly.
Blizzard might not like that though so it might be trinketable eventually at which point paladins will be easily kiteable again.

unfortunately for you, the far simpler solution here is just fixing avenger’s shield, and the devs prefer easy tasks.

also your solution does nothing to address the druid shapeshift problem.
