Hunters and Warlocks have pets, i think it would be nice for Paladins to have squires that help them in various ways.
Priest need altar boys also. We can technically call a squire pet haha (be nuts if we could use the leash toy on them!)

Please don’t make paladin a pet class. There are cosmetic squires that count as cosmetic pets from the Argent Tournament if you just want the fantasy.
