I hear leveling gets really nice for paladins in the plaguelands from 50-60 but I do not know why–can someone explain? They don’t really do that much extra damage to undead, right?
Is this assuming questing or only aoe farming?

- Exorcism and Holy Wrath work on undead

Paladins have abilities that only work on undead, exorcism holy wrath, turn undead, undead sensing.
Paladins absolutely destroy Undead enemies. The Plaguelands are teeming with Undead. You cant go two feet without tripping over a pile of them. Paladins can pull like 5-6 at once and ruin their day with zero difficulty.

Not really. Bring some mana pots and toss a Blessing of Wisdom on yourself and you’ll be fine. You also have that one Judgement effect that gives you mana whenever you hit the Judged target, I believe. Paladins were pretty sustainable for grinding.
Not if you’re smart. Judge wisdom and sit there whacking away for abit with a re-sealed wisdom then go to town pulling more. With a good aoe tanking build and a fast weapon the xp per hour can be abit nuts.
Basically as a pally you should be looking to quest in Felwood, darkshire and the plaguelands due to this.
People keep on going on about the reck-bomb build but it seems like alot of effort for minimal gain when you can just aoe grind as quickly.

because its almost all undead in plaguelands. Pallies are like a 3 person Vanilla elite to them
Or just use a 2 hander and reck bomb the enemies to death.
First, getting to level 50 on a Paladin is a feat within itself. Paladins aren’t really played, they’re managed. Second, Paladins actually get to use abilities while they’re fighting undead. Just make sure to bring a lot of water, so you’ll be able to regain your mana.
We don’t know whether the PS mechanics are the same as they will be in classic, So your “reck bomb” might not work.
Take the safe option and save some gold.
You don’t need water,mana pots or freebie mana things. You have seal of wisdom.
Paladins used to have an edge on the undead. Exorcism and another ability whose name escapes me at the moment. Plus we could purge all the debuffs the undead dished out.
Seal of Wisdom doesn’t mean Paladin’s don’t run out of mana. If you use Paladin abilities on undead, they go OOM fast.
Vanilla mechanics were vanilla. Should Classic not have crits when sitting, then that is a bug. I was doing pvp/world pvp before patch 2.0 dropped and it was definitely working then when I unmounted and one shot people. I’ll be fine leveling full prot to 35. Thanks for the concern though.

dont listen about “aoe farming” it just don’t work without exceptionally good gear and special trinkets
may be in full prot (at lvl 50) you would be able to do not with 1-2 mobs( but with 3-4 ) anyway it would not be faster, its is not like “mage aoe farming” with 20 mobs
after lvl 52 you should not care about lvls, and start collecting your preraid bis, and finishing attunes for Ony and Mc, doing tirion’s eastern plaguelands quest chain (reward is unique so choose it wisely)
after lvl 55 you could be accepted even for MC raid, its a common situation with 55-60 healers in MC
