Paladin is the Only Class to Play in Classic

The only class to play in Classic is the Paladin.

Righteous warriors of the light. Wielders of Holy Power.
Supports, tanks, and damage.

I will be making a Paladin guild in Classic.
Welcoming all Paladins.

Every class is worth playing because every class is in a far better state in classic than their current retail homogenized counterparts.

Depending on spec. Some specs in classes are obviously much better off in the garbage version of WoW (current). I do agree though. Customization from class to class was definitely better, by an infinite value.

Well.

Everything was viable to play really… It was just min/maxing raids and dungeons that pigeon’d you into specific roles for your class. I remember playing with tons of non-meta raid DPS and spec’s because my early guilds never really cared

Go, go Power Rangers! Wait, wrong expac…

I was in a pretty hard core guild that ran several people in “less optimal specs” and we were on the cutting edge of progression. We were a very unconventional guild though…

I remember 2 manning 5 or more horde back in vanilla. Until the whole raid comes…

I hope your being sarcastic.

Not at all, every class has been absolutely gutted over the years. I would play a Vanilla Ret Paladin before I touch the wannabe Holy Rogue that Blizz has turned Ret’s into in Retail. The only reason I continued to even level a Paladin after Cataclysm ruined them was in the hopes that Paladins would return to their WotLK glory days.

I agree they have but I would not say the Vanilla was the glory days at all, it was horrible. Class balance was so bad.

Never said Classic was the glory days, just that anything in Classic is better than what we currently have in Retail. For instance, Paladins peaked in WotLK.

Everything peaked in Wrath.

Eh, I’d say Rogues peaked in TBC.

I am beginning to think that everyone is thinking this too… I saw some recent polling data and it’s one of the most popular classes for Alliance…

This is wildly contrary to the Private servers and their tripe.

The horde side dynamics are looking about the same as the private servers tho…

Another interesting “Factoid” is that the alleged “Balance” of the server shows that Horde vs Alliance is actually really close in faction gross balance.

I wish that Shaman had as much Hype as Alliance Paladin. Maybe I will turn coat here and talk my guild into going Horde so I can represent and you guys can have some one to fear.

As a Warlock and of no worry about a Hunter contesting my gear, “Join us.”

But… but…

Hunter always think “Hunter Weapon”.

It’s seriously tempting because there are soooooooooooooo many Paladin and while I really really really want to play the class; literally everyone is gonna play one.

I guess the Paladins were smarter in some ways they know how to advertise the class effectively. Now my mission is to convince the Guild to go Horde… That may actually be a tough sell because there are few gals in the guild who’re Nelf fans.

Interesting “Factoid”, the gals in our guild play male characters; all of them.

LOL you knew; how did you know???!!!

So many people are in for a rude awakening when they play Classic. The hype train has gone crazy and boy they are in for a disappointment. Vanilla is not for the faint of heart and those who understand what a classic MMO is really like.

Well of course, if they’re going to be staring at a characters rear end all day long, it’s going to be a rear end they find attractive. It’s why I primarily play female characters, I find them attractive.
