Paladin Gold Farming?

You don’t need a Skullflame shield to do the farm, but of course it’s better than the alternatives. Crest of Retribution from Ramstein in Strat UD is what I used, and it works fine.

The 1 handed axe, Bone Slicing Hatchet from Maleki in there is great, too, as is Deathbone set with its nice MP5, or any of the Paladin tier, depending on what you can get your hands on.

I’ve seen two different builds used, one is deep holy (with holy shock) with some prot and the other is deep prot (with holy shield) with some holy. Which is the ideal?

The mostly holy build seems like it’s be good to reduce respecing to be a healer for groups, but holy shield seems quite useful for the added aoe farm damage.

It’s been quite a while since I played my Pally, and I was kind of cheap when it came to respecc’ing. IIRC, I used something like this 30/21/0 build - though, that’s just from memory; I can’t recall offhand whether the armor value from toughness is worth going 5/5… and you don’t need RF for lasher farming, but it’s quite helpful if you’re going to be tanking Scholo.

Anyway, Blessing of Sanctuary is really key for this type of farming, and with a 30/21/0 build, you don’t gimp yourself for raid healing.

FWIW, when I first started doing the lasher farms, I watched some videos, and then felt really bad at WoW, because I kept dying…

After a couple of hours of corpse runs though, I found that it’s much less gear dependent than you might think, and much more about taking the right pathing, and pacing your pulls and mana.

You’ll want plenty of bag space and plenty of water, and an alt in party to reset.
