A few questions… is the quest for the mount still relevant in WOTLK, or can I just train it?
Should I wait until 70 to solo it?
you cant solo it at 70 i don’t think.
you might be able to solo it at 80.
i don’t think it’s purchaseable from vendor until Cataclysm?
A prot spec paladin at 70 can easily solo all of it until the ghost event at the end. Here you’ll probably be worn down by the ghosts and need help. Easy solution is to bring a healer. Note that you also need the keys for dire maul and scholo unless you want to get creative and die at the doors.
The blood elf can be soloed
You can solo it pretty easy in p1 gear. I did it in green gear with the enhance shaman on another account doing the killing
I solo’d it at 70 with like pretty much p1 BiS prot. Wasn’t bad at all. Only part that was slightly hard was the final fight in strat but I still finished with like 80% health and 50% mana lol

It is relevant in that it is the cheaper way to get epic ground riding skill.
I got it all done around 62 with a 70 hpal carrying.
That’s not solo if you have 2 toons…
You get a feat of strength for completing the quest lines. But yes, in WOTLK you can train it.
It was soloable at 70. I did it as a holy pally in greens.

You can buy it in WotLK, but I think I remember the questline still being in until Cata. Either way, you can solo it as 70.

yeah doing the quest just gives the achivement
When the paladin stood in the corner and I killed everything with an enhance shaman in leveling gear it was. With any sort of gear at all you can just do it solo. I have lvl 60-65 pallies pay me to do it for them on my p1/p2 geared prot now all the time while they just AFK
