You’re probably bugged I made a new paladin after the pre-pre-patch and the charger was in my mount tab and useable at level 10. The only thing I can think of is if your account has never had a Paladin on it to unlock the charger prior to the Talent tree changes resulting in the charger not popping in. So bug report forums might be the place to post.
thats good to know. And yeah, no I have not made a Paladin since I transfered my last one to an alternate account. So this is the first time playing one since then
I started leveling a Paladin a few days ago and were automatically given the charger at lvl 10. It even put itself on my hotbar.
So i guess your character is just bugged. Maybe contact a Gm.

because barely anyone plays paladin, its not a very popular class vs other 11 classes. Doesn’t help that more then often not, ret paladins are a hit or miss on dps charts and unwanted often so dps won’t touch paladin.
I thought it was given to you at level 20 and then 40 like the warlock mount which is basically the same thing.
level 20 you get the 1st version usually learned automatically now. then when you hit level 40 you get the 2nd version again learned for free. Only way i can think of you not getting it is that it is possibly a Mount item given to you; like when mobs drop a mount you get an item for it and learn it via clicking the item in your bag then it goes to your mount tab. you shouldnt have to learn it at a trainer it should have automatically been given to you.
it also depends what race you are they dont all use the charger. Only belf and humans use the charger the other paladin races have their own race specific equivalents called something else. If it is greyed out then possibly only other thing i can think of is because you never had a Human paladin. I would assume though even if unlocked that the mount would stay the same just transfered depending on the race you are.

Paladins are the only class where their base mounts (level 20 and 40) are specific to race as well as class. They’re also the only class to be offered a special mount at the Argent Tournament. At level 110 paladins may earn the Highlord’s Golden Charger after completing the Legionfall campaign on the Broken Shore.
This may help. And this was before the lvl alteration.
Go to icecrown, do Argent tourney dailies, get the argent charger.

I am having the same issue. I got the Warhorse at level 10, but haven’t gotten the Charger at all. I am now level 53. Checked all the Paladin trainers.

Can anybody confirm if this mount exists post Cata? Every reference I can see to it seems to point to WOW Classic.
I had to put in a ticket to get mine. I tried everything I could think of on my own, and the response said it was a common issue.
Other race paladins don’t have that problem with their second mount, neither do Warlock’s.
Ok that’s good to hear. I’ve put in a ticket so hopefully they’ll fix it up for me soon.
It took a day for the automated “Have you tried -all the things I told them I tried in the ticket-” response, but after that you respond saying it’s still a problem, and then wait a couple more days.
Annoying, but it works.
