Since we’re tossing out support spec ideas - bard for paladin.
Makes sense aesthetically, can give us lutes and harps and stuff and we can serenade our allies.
Imagine going into raid or M+ hoping for that phat lute drop!
“And then, a sound. At first it was merely a vibration in the night, yet even that slight disturbance of the air was pure and strong and clean. A glow began, then several; the vibration became many, all in different tones, and the sights and sounds coalesced into an ascending tide of rainbow and melody. Beings of Light, rescuing him from the dark and singing to him of hope in a chorus that restored the universe.

Bruh the Naaru are literally floating musical light chimes. They resonate the music of the universe.

Except music has never been any serious thing in wow. yes theres a few “handful” of sound-related attacks but they were used by trash mobs and did next to nothing. The most “useful” one is sirens but that does nothing in combat, you arent going to “seduce” bosses or even boss adds. And it would just be mind control 2.0. The only 1 single being we had that was strong in wow was that sound elemental in that raid or dungeon and that was it. Also carrying a musical instrument is basically death into a raid fight.
Blizz will just have to get creative, it’s not hard to make something new fit in a pre-existing world, not all bards fight with musical instruments, those who do are spell bards.
No, you’re going to buff allies…hence support class.
You just keep farming L’s here eh?
i hereby offer one slightly ribald limerick

Bard seems more like something you would add on to rogue or made into its own class.
I imagine bard would be its own class so unlikely it’s ever added.
If they did a spec the best choices imo would be a hunter or rogue.

No, it doesn’t. Doesn’t make sense thematically, either. Bard is enough of a meme when people suggest that it be its own class, it’s even more of one when they say that it should be another class’s fourth spec.

Play a bard in Baldurs Gate 3. You’ll get to be very bardy.
It doesnt remotely make any sense. If any class makes sense to have a bard spec it would be the rogue.
.
Paladin is a support spec
If Bard’s become playable I’m dropping everything and re-rolling on Moonguard and I’ll never return.
