They could also just admit that phase 2 PvP was a mistake and turn on battlegrounds early.

Reroll, it’s super easy, it’s free, and you don’t have to ask anyone. Don’t have to wait either, it can be done at any time.

haha. yup. To be honest my server isnt all that bad especially because I usually play in the morning. But it can be real annoying at prime time.
For ever person that calls it a mistake, there could be a person that really enjoys this limited time frame content.
It existed in vanilla and it’s in Classic. Go figure.

I acknowledge that, and that there is a segment of the population that likes it.
That doesn’t change that this was not intended to be how PvP servers were optimally played, as seen by the fact that blizzard never, ever attempted to bring mass world PvP to the open general questing zones.
They instead tried to bring it back to specific zones, at specific times (Silithus, Auchindoun, Wintergrasp, etc.).
Especially with players maximizing honor this time (unlike the real time this happened, where the systen was mostly still not understood, and with far fewer engaging with it), this phase 2 doesn’t even resemble the original 2 month window that BGs weren’t in.
Even then, with far fewer problems, blizzard scrambled to get BGs into the game quickly.

And you are looking for Blizzard to redevelop the meaning of wPvP in Classic? They have the live version of WoW for that. If they do any improvements, that is where it will be.

However, there was a 2 month period where there was the honor system in vanilla but no BGs (April-June 2005) so they are not likely to admit they made an error in doing it the same way this time.
I like the idea of paid transfers so people can just go wherever they want, but if someone transfers to a PvE server they should not be able to transfer back to a PvP server. That’s like cheating.

I would take a transfer to pve. I don’t enjoy this game enough to reroll and have to spend months recycling the same content as I redo the same quests on the same classes on another server.

Play another faction and a different class. Take a different quest route…Plenty of opportunity. There’s no way you have 8 60’s and have done every available quest on both factions since launch. But I agree with your sentiment that they should open transfers to PvE servers.
