What are your thoughts on these points for someone who wants to jump in and start leveling characters for Mists? Thanks!
Population: In realm selection, Pagle is High and Benediction is Medium. On ironforge.pro, they currently look equal with Benediction historically having much higher peaks.
PvE: How are the raid pugging communities? Is there a generally “higher skilled/more progressed” server? And is it mostly GDKP these days or are there still SR/etc runs?
PvP: I’ve heard that Benediction has the more active PvP playerbase. But it looks like everything is cross server now anyhow (arena/bgs) so does it even matter?
Behavior: How friendly are the servers overall… etc. 
From what I can gather.
You go Benediction if you care about having a more skilled group of players on average that also expects you to do the bare minimum for your class, and you go Pagle if you want a more chill laid-back group that doesn’t exactly care if you underperform a bit.
On the Benediction side there are GDKP and SR runs that happen. Though I think MS>OS is slowly starting to replace SR due to a lack of care.
Benediction will also have a bigger bounce-back population for MoP launch due to the historical size of the realm. (potentially bigger due to the smaller realms being merged at some point)
I agree with the above about bene having better players, pagle is really the “dad” server and what good guilds are there are struggling to recruit good players. Bene is the safer bet population/raiding wise
