And this is why wide open transfers were a terrible idea, and that they should have been very tightly controlled in the first place allowing only certain factions to be open to transfers. Every server should have its ability to be transferred TO or FROM controlled. If a server is over populated and has a layer then clearly no one should be allowed to join it.
If a server has a faction imbalance but its otherwise not over populated, then transfers from the under populated faction should be locked to prevent players from leaving the server, but at the same time blizzard could entice guilds on the over populated faction to leave the server to an under populated server.
These things could be handled over a 2 or 3 month period by a full time employee who’s job it is to manage servers, and get things reasonably close to balanced. My server is back to being roughly 60 /40 horde bias and its very good.
There is a lot of good that can be had by putting a HUMAN in charge of fixing these things, but for some reason blizzard allows for utter chaos.

Glad to know the blue bois (Alliance, not Blizzard) are looking out for Pagle’s overall health. We’ve got a great community here and it’s sad to see it fading as quickly as it has been.

There are many guilds on this server that are down to 35 players and still raiding AQ. Please, please help us. This has been a downward spiral for a long time and everyone’s getting really sad
