I personally enjoy the small community aspect of Pagle’s Horde side, but without the opportunity for players to transfer here, I’m afraid we will lose this community and become a ghost town of our former self. I would hate to see that happen.

Server snapshot on Ironforge Census shows a 89-11 split as of 8/03/20.

Just this week we lost around 100 active, raid geared players from Surreal and DDMB leaving because they couldn’t recruit off server. We are under 10% now.

I know of 3 more Horde guilds that are going to transfer. Has Blizzard even dignified our concerns with a response yet?

Not yet. Not having much luck with streamers yet either. I’m still trying. Could use more people tweeting the handles that are pushed to the server buff announcements.

So glad they announced transfer restrictions are gone. This benefits the realm overall. A bit more than “everything is open” would have been nice to see, I hope we can get some of our Horde people back so Horde side can recover.

Yes, opening transfers is great. But that doesn’t fix the gaping wound left in the Horde population. Way too many guilds, and the 100’s of players with them, have already left, and aren’t going to come back just because transfers are open again.

There needs to be incentives for horde to want to come here. Right now we have way too few players, an almost dead AH, and only a handful of guilds that would attract anybody to our server; nobody is going to want to PAY to come here.

FREE transfers for HORDE ONLY, need to be implemented, to, hopefully, bring back old guilds that have already transferred, and entice new players to actually WANT to come here.

This is a small win, yes; but we haven’t WON yet. Horde is still crippled and won’t recover overnight just because we can recruit off-realm again. Both the remaining horde, and any alliance that care enough, need to keep putting pressure on blizz to actually DO SOMETHING to balance the populations. Until then, things won’t actually get any better.

It’s not a perfect solution, but i’m happy the servers are back open!

I’m concerned something unilateral like this will lead to Alliance on Mankirk coming here and leading to another server lock that will unintentionally punish the horde. I feel it’s much better to just keep transfers open for Horde.

Still, a victory is a victory.

Opening transfers did nothing, and horde is still slowly bleeding to death as more and more people leave to more populated servers.

I said it before, but I’ll reiterate:

Nobody will pay to come to a server with a dead faction

Free or otherwise incentivized horde only transfers are the only way forward.
