Pagle - Bots

I see a lot of Dwarf hunters with chinese pet names , doing the same path and always stuck on trees and buildings , no talking back on whispers , do the same path all the time and the same atack moves …
I keep reporting but I see that a lot of them are going up the lvl and nothing has been done

Yesterday I saw 2 together farming in The Hinterlands, they were both stuck in picking up items from a dead troll. I found out that both of them were from the same guild, Karens. Then I used my hearthstone to Gadgetzan, and there were more there. I msged one saying hello bot. Later they whispered me. I told them they have bots in their guild and he said no they don’t i told yes, i saw them, then he said Good Bye. Don’t worry blizzard isn’t going to remove them, they love the money to much.

In my opinion, this is childish nonsence. No employee at Blizzard “gets the money”. If you don’t know Blizzard’s reasons, don’t pretend that you do and claim the reason is childish greed.

In reality no company on earth can eliminate cheaters. Blizzard can’t. Big casinos in Las Vegas and Macao can’t. Companies with 10,000 times as much money as Blizzard can’t do it either.

Your belief that Blizzard can do something impossible is cute, but false. You claiming they refuse to do this because they are greedy is nasty.

Are you delusional? It doesn’t take much effort to ban someone when they are reported multiple times by people…
A GM can literally see within a minute or two if it is a bot or not, not hard to tell.

We are doing the work for them by reporting the bots and yet the bots don’t get banned. We aren’t expecting blizzard to detect and ban them all by themselves…

Blizzard bans in massive waves because it looks better, while generally catching some innocent bystanders (who later get quietly unbanned) in the wake. This ban wave also has little to no effect as they simply create more accounts with more stolen cards.

Blizzard has been doing ban waves for over a decade and it has never had enough of an impact to be noticeable. So while individual employees don’t get any money from it, Blizzard doesn’t try hard to police their own servers - there are blatant bots that have been reported over and over, running the same routes with no results. I’ve even seen bots hacking to get to things way too quickly, and still nothing.

If Blizzard had even remotely as good a support as they used to have this wouldn’t be an issue. But they outsourced it and massively cut funding to it.

The Fanboi is strong in this one…

You do realize there are more bots than actual players in the world below level 60 right?

You are telling me there’s absolutely NO WAY to stop OBVIOUS botters and CHEATING in a computer game.

Really?

Does this apply to all games or just ones owned by the largest MMO company on the planet?

Pagle has an infestation too, huh? Weird, seems like all servers do now
