Why does this Hero Spec have no visual flavor to it at all? There are a lot of cool visual flairs being added to so many classes and even bad ones at least have SOMETHING. Pack Leader has literally nothing. Why? Cloud Blizzard seriously think of nothing to give them visually? No kind of new attack alongside your pet, no snake trap, no venom bomb, no summoned spirit beast that drops in, does a thing, and then leaves? Nothing… It has no visual presence and no one will ever know one is on the field.
It doesnt matter mechanically I guess, but it feels bad, looks bad, and generally disappoints with virtually no reason for it. Same goes for any other spec that got the short end here, just why?

Hunter is a very boring class visually, wild spirits was the last time hunter had a big visual effect
Sure, but literally nothing is not more of the same. The other two specs go visual queues so you know one is around. Sure, they are not the loudest, but they are something. Pack Leader however has -nothing-.
If nothing else, Dark Ranger looks like it might actually be a valuable pick. 
If you really care about visuals, has Hunter (or Rogue) ever been for you really?

Cause Blizzard needed a third Hero tree and just claimed some talents that are just buffs as a solution. Pack Leader is Blizzard’s way of show that hunters they don’t have the time to put actual effort into.

By how much? I was actually planning to run it simply because I feel like I have enough buttons to press already.
In single target by like 10% which is a lot, in keys the gap is closer, but dark ranger still better prio and boss damage in a key and smoke screen is an insane defensive talent, honestly kinda broken. Bm aoe also super bad in TWW, I’ll be swapping to SV for keys.
Man, what an L thing to say. Lowkey visuals doesn’t mean NO visuals. I’ts not like hunter vanishes from sight when in combat and you just stare at buttons.
More visuals would be nice but I’m already a huge fan of have KC looks. So I’m fine as is.
Both Sentinel and Dark Ranger are better than Pack Leader. They have the strongest damage output, and have the strongest defensive available over Pack Leader.
The designers could only think of two Hero talent trees, and just pooped out one more to fill it in. Then made it just some passives to save time on it, and just so it wouldn’t be so obvious they made sure it be thr weakest choice.
Pack Leader rotation entirely consists of Kill Command + Vicious Hunt looping, to trigger Furious Assault to then spam Raptor Strike or Barbed Shot.
For Survival this means having to use a generator ability continuously to get procs.
Pack hunter is a copy/paste melee version of BM with bad tuning, no visuals, and poor defensives. It unimpressive for BM and play-style wise does work for SV mechanically.

Pack leader should give us extra beast to call on. Bears for BM and eagles for SV.
BM comes already very close to the Pack Leader fantasy. We have Animal Companion, Huntmaster’s Call, Dire Command, Dire Beast, Murder of Crows, and Call of the Wild. Then as of this season our tier set summons a beast every time we use BW. BM is constantly summoning a extra beast.
Every idea that could have been added to Pack Leader is already a talent for BM. This is most likely why Pack Leader is just passive buffs as Blizzard just ran out of creative ideas.

I was hoping for some kind of cool effect that increased the size of our pets or something. Some classes got epic visuals and hunters got an underwhelming afterthought, like Titanstrike. This kills my hype to level my hunter a little 
Hunter and rogue I think got the lamest ones. Hunter is doing better then rogue at least in the visuals department. Still, I find it really uninspired of them to give PL nothing at all to queue off it’s stuff. Not even sound effects. I guess if you talent into it, you get a pet that last six seconds, so barely any time at all and for sure the worst pick of the two on the choice node.
