been playing black arrow since the start of the expac for BM, doing 18s no problem, but i see at high keys people are greatly switching to pack leader.
I copied the meta build and this is it?
Just old BM hunter WITHOUT the frenzy 3 stack minigame? literally just spam cobra shot barbed shots and kill commands?, nothing to it?

Crazy how black arrow added some sauce to the spec, but oh well, meta is meta.
Dark Arrow is still the winner.
The higher players go up, the more annoying it is to keep track of abilities.
So, DR for more DPS, or BM for less ability tracking.
As for BM placement? They’re still not doing well in raids. I checked the charts. They’re doing pretty well in Mythic+, but DR still beats PL.
Side Note: DH Devourer has 4 abilities, and they’re constantly at the top. I’ve watched someone play the spec, and it’s literally charge up the Fury bar, then spam 3 other abilities. You could literally macro DH Devourer.
I know this much: I’m going to keep playing what I enjoy.
I prefer DR just because I like the black arrow procs. A lot. But I do pack leader on a few bosses. Not really a fan of it.
If you’re still able to run the content you want to run as DR, what’s the problem? Keep using it…
Because i want to maximize my damage as much as i can.
Hey man, I just came back to the game after having quit my Hunter since Cata and I love Pack Leader for nostalgic reasons lol. It feels like my Hunter did back when you had to macro Hawk and Fox Aspects. It might just be that I’ve only ever done LFR twice on my Hunter, but it feels badass. Can cool points be > actual dps points this time? haha
