I have a question about my hero talents (Pack Leader). Some list a specific pet type, including bear, boar, and wyvern. My question is do these affect pets in the companion slot, or just the currently summoned main pet? I have a bear, boar, wyvern, wolf, and owl, and am trying to decide which to put in my companion slot. Currently, I have my owl in it, but if these talents work on pets in the companion slot, even though they don’t use abilities, I might replace it with my boar or wyvern. Bear is my main pet.
The talent summons a bear, boar or wyvern at random. The summoned animal is not from your stable and are named “bear” “boar” or “wyvern.” They appear, do their thing, and disappear. It hasn’t affected my Companion pet that I’ve ever seen.

It’s not at random, it’s a set and consistent cycle fwiw
It was the connection to “Howl of the Pack Leader” I wasn’t making. But thanks! See, I was looking at Ursine Fury, Fury of the Wyvern, and Hogstrider out of context.
