I understand that we are moving to maintenance mode in SoD in relatively short order and one of the things to employ when doing something like that is make some basic fixes to extend the lifespan of the game loops present. I’d love to see the original tuning of SE available as a hardmode, or offering a heroic mode for dungeons (even if its just importing Karazhan Crypts values onto old mobs). M+ or Fated type systems are a big undertaking but also something a large percent of the player base might be interested in if Blizzard wants this to have a shelf life beyond 4-5mo. Heck, have Khonsu summon 2 random world bosses to fight your raid at once.
Regardless of the specifics I hope we get some sort of 8.Something to tie a bow on things and provide us with means to take a final lap of the content in a fresh way.

Mythic plus would be cool, I would have it drop raid weapons/trinkets since those are not something you can get with reals. As you do higher keys you move up raid tier weapons/trinkets maybe. A currency instead with a vendor to buy the weapons might work too. I would like to see some kind of system to where you get a certain key level to get better raid weapons. Just an example, key 1-3 experience gives MC quality, 4-7 BWL, 7-10 AQ, 10-14 Naxx, 15+ SE? Just spitballing with those numbers but i do think a mythic dungeon system would make sod have more content to do between raid logging.
You are probably right but the forums are 99% wishful thinking anyway. That’s sorta why I’m appealing more to the lower effort options - but I would tentatively guess theres some desire among the devs to have SoD go out on something better received than SE initially has been
