Sadly there’s nothing Blizzard can do.

They may (and probably do) dislike it as much as the players do, but legally Blizzard has no leg to stand on and can’t force Overwolf to do anything.

Just like how multiboxing with hardware solutions wasn’t technically using software, so technically they were good to go even if that was clearly against Blizzard’s intent to be rid of multiboxing. Well, people were reminded real quick that Blizzard can change its stance whenever they want.

The game seems to be end game focused these days, and end game players like their addons. I doubt Overwolf would be able to get away with a horrible client for long.

To be end game focused, a game needs to have end game to begin with.
