Will classic wow allow over sized pets for hunters?

anyone know?

Ummmm? over sized pets?

I am going to go out an a limb here and say no.
Just because I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

No 100% sure what you mean by oversized pets. From my memory I believe the pets shrink when you tame them low level but grow back to original size as they reach max level (do correct me if I remember wrong, it has been years after all lol).

I think he may be referring to hunters being able to tame bigger creatures like corehounds and devilsaurs or something.
I vaguely remember something like that coming around in some expansion maybe those stay “bigger” than normal pets or something.

In any case nothing like that is going to be in Classic if that is what he is referring to.

yeah, I was referring to bigger creatures being tamed and then staying the size they were as you tamed them. Such as having a giant spider as a pet. I remember my brother having a huge spider for a pet and was wondering if they were bringing that back.

Keep in mind they grow to original size at max level. So your wolf will be back to the original pony size, your bear back to the original horse size, once you hit around 50’ish for example. In fact in more recent times they made it so you can shrink your pets so that some pets like the birds, wouldn’t be a pita and block view of the mobs lol.

ok, thanks!

Somewhere along the way they “normalized” pet sizes, but it was TBC or after so I hope it still works that way. I remember that one big bear in Dun Morogh was a pain to see around in a dungeon.

OP is talking about the ZG Bat for an example.

I used this bat in retail back in vanilla because it had a 1.0 attack speed and didn’t shrink once tamed making it a great pet for BG’s.
