You know you dont have to engage with said bad eggs…they will find places and ways to congregate and fester no matter what.
The assumption that a more open forum would be all that its a bit hyperbolic… If it does break actual tos of being hate groups and that then it’ll be delt with as per usual…the OP is asking for less opaque rules that cause suspensions as trolling these days is just opinions people dont like.
I doubt at all they are asking for those things to be the forums are too much like egg shell walking for silly reasons to be suspended. Simply because people dont like your opinion…
The nasties come out then they would be banned as they would now.
Really thing we need the down vote back and less blanket terms as whats considered “trolling” is again pretty broad as eveythinf and anything can be seen as inflammitoy at this point.
People expect everyone else to step lightly for their triggers when they need to instead learb to deal with them themselves and stop expecting others to cater to their sensitivities.

This is why I have a business licence and a company with one employee, me.
All my clients are by word of mouth and I don’t advertise. Keeps costs low and I can set my own schedule.
I already found a way around your war of morality. I found a way around it not because I want to “say bad things”. I don’t want to associate myself in any way shape of form with evil. That is the true legacy of the progressive. An evil set of people, who do evil things. Progressives don’t even hide it anymore.

Its evil to label people things when you are not the moral arbiters of the universe.
You don’t get to decide what other people are based on your sideways moral code.
I don’t allow myself to be any of those things because I leave everyone alone and expect the same. Progressives always want to push “rules for thee, but not for me”. Even in this exchange my calling progressives evil isn’t okay, but you can label people as racist, homophobic and transphobic.
Keep the eyebrow raised, its not like I expect you to understand how hypocritical the progressive ideology is. That alone would shatter your sense of being.

Some don’t hold the same views as you, so what. You don’t sleep at night because people say bad things, or treat each other with disrespect. Getting someone fired isn’t going to fill that void in your soul.

Thing is, it is far easier to see evil in others then it is to denounce someone as a racist, homophobic, or really whatever other slight you can impose. You are used to having the battle of words with people who are afraid of those labels. I’m not, and you can’t handle that.
Plain and simple, you are a bully. Everything that you espouse to bring down are the exact traits you exhibit. How about you stop trying to bring others down and lift them up?

I want the world to be a safer place for LGBTQIA+ folks, unacceptable behaviors are to be brought into the daylight.
They do it to themselves, and that behavor harms an uncountable amount of LGBTQIA+ kids.
If a racist says racist things behind closed doors (an online forum) but that information gets back to their employer that’s their own fault for saying racist things. They have no right to be talking that way about other people which causes violence.
Bottom line, what I believe in is taught in every level of academia from kindergarten to college. Don’t know why you’re trying to debate me, your side has already lost.

I’m against doxxing in general, but if someone were to appear on TV at a rally with tiki torch in hand, moaning, “You will not replace us,” no one would cry a darn tear if that person were to be rightfully terminated.
Also bear in mind that the person you’re arguing with literally admitted to being a classic misogynist in another thread. Some people are just incapable of “getting it.” Don’t waste your valuable time on them.

Very few threads are beyond non-sense. Trying to bring “academics” to the forum is already “academic”, because no one cares.
However, after a while it starts to become not only academic and non-sense, but also not funny.
So your answer is because one harms another, I will harm them in return. Checks out, an eye for eye and the world goes blind. How absolutely humane of you.
Based on your metric of, because I said so. Think for a minute, have you ever even tried to find out why these people say the things they do, or act they way they do. Nope, its more important to levy a morality tax against them.
I will say again, you don’t get to decide what intention other people have when they speak. If so, then I repeat, progressives are evil, and you are only proving my point. Your morality is tainted by evil, and therefore is rendered meaningless.
And here we have it. This statement here “what I believe” is what I was getting at. You are no better then the evangelical on the pulpit, telling people to renounce their sin. Its a belief, and one that comes from a soured, tainted source.

In your space you get to determine what is unacceptable. Not in others.
Blizzard has tarnished their brands by changing their ToS again and again. So they will have to be happy with a smaller audience. That’s the price of alienating a bulk of their players.
And like always alternatives will come up. Youtube wasn’t the end of video streaming platforms. Facebook and Twitter weren’t the end of social media.
As I always tell progressives you float along a giant ocean of conversation in a fish bowl thinking you’re in control. You’re not and you never will be. So instead of raging against nature perhaps you can take a breath and enjoy the little fish bowl you reside in. Like normal people do!
