Overlord attack change in 11.0.5. Do we really have to wait at least a month to get this?

This is a very welcome change, but do we really need to wait until 11.0.5 for this? This seems like the type of thing that should be immediately hotfixed in. We’re losing a lot of potential damage in raid on a few bosses at least.

Edit: Unfortunately this has affected me to the point that I have to play soul harvester instead in raid. Please push this as a priority, 1.3 hero talents are effectively dead on at least 6 bosses in raid and a large portion of mobs in the rest of the game as diabolist. (Those being the Overlord summon itself and Cloven Souls).

8 Overlord summons over the course of a fight 5 minute fight equates to 2 minutes of the Cloven Souls debuff. So we’re missing 5% damage for 2 minutes in a 5 minute fight + the actual 4% of overall damage he provides.

How is this not something that is immediately addressed and hotfixed? This is substantial.

Just make him wind up and throw his axe, exploding in AOE like he already does. Problem immediately solved.
