99% of the time the portal takes you no where.

portal works only if there’s node close on map. Which is hoestly useless compared to getting extra stuff.

You are doing it incorrectly. The only time to overload a node/herb is if they’re Titan touched for the additional rousing orders you get from overloading or and tapping it.

Its legit pointless i agree the only nodes i ever even bother overloading are molten and primal, simply becuase of a higher chance to get more rousing fire outta them.

The only time I tried overloading a titan node it opened a portal… to the node I had JUST gathered.

So it’s not just me! I’ve had this happen many times.
I’ve had it teleport me few times to nothing. I think one overload has successfully sent me to get extra herbs.
I did the overload spell for the first time research knowledge on a titan-touched herb and then pretty much saved it for decayed herbs afterwards. I did try overloading a titan-touched herb a second time, but it teleported me to a Hochenblume node… thanks.
I overload Titan-Touched almost exclusively and only once or twice has it ported me to a usable node. Most of the time it goes nowhere.

Yeah this is pretty silly. I’ve stopped overloading them. I just wait for Frozen at this point. Or decay.

This. Only frozen or decay are worth bothering with. The wind ones are too much of a PITA, and the Titan ones are bugged most of the time.

Hah that reminds me of the old Legion fishing artifact that had the ability to teleport you to another pool of fish… but only if it was close enough to see on the minimap. That artifact had a lot of great benefits, but the ability to save 2 seconds traveling to the next pool of fish… was not one of them.

Yeah it should probably be reworked as even when it does function it’s still pretty lackluster.
Ummmm yall realize the portal isnt the only effect of overloading a titan-touched herb/ore right? You get bonus rousing or even the occasional awakened order when you overload.

This is why I tend to target them. Tapping a titan touched gets 5-9 more rousing normally.
