Alright so the idea being able to craft treatises are awesome, but why can we only use one per week? Also why doesn’t it say that in the description, would that be a doable change so people with alts trying to catch up in profession points are aware. . Thanks
Uh? You mean …treatises? I mean … do you really want me, your competition, to muhuhahaha at the beginning of the expansion and use 100 of them?
Only catch-up you say? Ok. All but two of my crafters have catch up they could get and I got algari master of all on day 5 of the expansion launching. Do you …reallllllyyyyy wanna give me more points?
It would just be nice if in the description it would mention the cap. It wouldn’t be 100, more like 2-3 a week, and maybe increasing it next season to 3-5 a week.
To touch base about the “Competition” aspect of it. That’s not what I do with mine, it’s a pass time to further help a community - as in my friends, guildies, and people (Who seem to be having no luck finding a crafter through trade chat or post a public order without a “Worthy” tip). So yah, a bit of use as a catch-up mechanic would be nice.
I will agree that something on the tool tip should say that you can only use 1 per week. Treatises arent the catch up, they are a bonus.
In dragonflight you had shards of knowledge which were farmable from dirt piles, satchels, treasures, rares, dungeon bosses.
In TWW you have patron crafting orders that refresh every few days.
I also do mostly craft gear for friends. But anything in the AH is pvp. So if you buy or sell on there it is a competition.
You’ll notice that most items, especially those that can be multicrafted, are selling for far less than their actual material cost. That’s because people are competing and pricing in their multicraft/resourcefulness/ingenuity.
What you’re proposing would shift everyone up in amount of kp. But shifting up someone who is just looking to get skill is not the same as shifting up someone who is looking to get stats.
Also this would increase the rate of kp gain per week and then we’d be done with all the trees much faster than I think blizz wants them to be completed.
I was hoping, since you can only use 1 per week, that they would extend that if you havn’t used any (say you missed a week, now you can use 2 on the next week). But I read that that isn’t the case.
It would probably create a stronger market for treatises, as well.
Hm … Well that might work actually. Good idea!
