The Over Your Head quest (Legion Leatherworking) appears to be broken with the introduction of the new UI. Starting (or abandoning and re-starting) the quest triggers on-screen display and chat text stating that the requisite, quest-specific recipes have been gained, but no such recipes are in the leatherworking recipe menu. Moving out of and then back into the leatherworking trainer/quest-giver’s vicinity also triggers the on-screen alerts that the quest recipes have been added to the recipe menu, but they are still not there. Clicking on the table or rack, as prompted by the quest text, also just opens the leatherworking recipe menu, but the quest-specific recipes aren’t there.
No addons are running.

Just encountered this issue.
I am also stuck here and can’t learn Legion leatherworking on my new alt.
Same issue, every time I enter Legendary Leathers it says new recipes learned but they don’t appear in the crafting menu, logging out doesn’t help, abandoning quest and reacquiring also doesn’t.
Same issue, it says that i have learned the recipes to complete my task but they do not show in the popup window to do so. I have tried logging out and back in, walking out and back in and have tried numerous times of abandoning and getting the quest again to no avail. Blizzard please help fix this bug.

I just ran in to this issue myself. I have a workaround for this quest with a few macros

Either make 4 macros or just copy over one after you create the items. PickupSpell will put the spell in your cursor then you can drop it anywhere on your bars and then cast it.
I know this works because I finished the quest doing it. Will work for all the broken legion crafting professions but you will have to go to wowhead and find the spell IDs. The ones above are for the quest Over Your Head.

Do you happen to know if there is a fix like this for “Make Some Noise” leather quest in Boralus harbor? I can pick up the items but the training is not there. Thanks in advance!
Yes, I hope they fix this bug because it sucks to have to use macros to complete a quest.

i have a fix that worked for me… open the leather working go to the filter at top by search bar click on it and go down to were it says legion and click it… YOU ARE WELCOME .

I’m pretty sure this is the real answer.
I ran into this with Cooking classic vs cataclysm and that was the answer there too.
Crazy how poorly it was explained.
