Over 50% of M+ runs use 2 of the 6 healing specs

And the higher the keys you look at, the worse it gets.

4/6 specs now have bad community perception. Blizzard, fix the healing specs.

I love resto druids! I will invite all resto druids even two of them instead of a third dps because they are so cute, can be cats, and can help revive me when I die to silly things in-combat! Bonus!

Also please let me take infinite people into M+ so it will be really easy and nobody gets left out!

We keep it scaled for five! Nobody gets loot anyway so it’s no big deal if all our loot doesn’t go up with more people.

Want to know a super top secret secret? If you bring 1 tank, 2 dps , and 2 disc priests, the disc priests equal 1 whole healer and one whole dps.

And it’s even two whole healers plus one dps! Smart! <3

I agree. As mistweaver, up to +10 is not hard to find groups (despite server discrimination), but higher keys often have notes like “looking for rsham”. That’s ok, there will always be meta specs, but it’d cool if further balance is implemented.

You cant lose with 2 healers! Who’s gunna die? Not me!

Tis a community perception problem, and I don’t know what they can really do.
Playing the absolute meta spec isn’t even required unless you’re trying to push top content. /shrug

Just so you don’t feel like it’s your fault or your character’s spec’s fault (because it’s most likely not!) the groups looking for Rshaman healers may just be looking for bloodlust and they don’t have anyone in the group who can do it.

At least, this is what I’m thinking when I advertise this. I want to make sure I get lust and battle rez in every group, so in the same way, if there’s only a healer spot left and I have no dk/druid/lock, I’ll advertise for Resto Druids.

Just checked top healers, druid, disc, pally, and shaman were in top 10. That’s all I got before my phone got overwhelmed with links and ads.

But seems a lot of healers are doing well.

can’t lie, I’m going to prefer a pally or shaman every time, when I have to pug a healer

I haven’t had much luck with any disc healer I’ve done keys with, usually extremely rough even in lower keys. Don’t know if I just get bad ones or if it’s just a spec problem

Make Blizzard fix drums so I don’t drool over resto shamans <<

Disc is just super gear dependant and benefits from knowing every encounter, as their proactive healing/mitigation is a lot more dependable than their overall reactive healing.

50% of the M+ runs that are logged in warcraft logs use 1/3 of the specs.
As most runs are not logged the stat means nothing.

Should look at tanks

Healers aren’t that bad, the obvious meta seems to be DH and MM

Its a community perception problem, people gravitate towards whatever the meta is, There’s a holy priest clearing 20’s/21’s.

You don’t need to log M+ for it to show up in Warcraft Logs. They pull data from leaderboards which includes even lowly +2 Necrotic Wake that was missed by 30 min O_o

I didn’t realize this until I tried to look up the logs for a guy that was asking about how to interpret them in this thread. He had no logs at all, yet all his runs were there anyway (from leaderboard data).

It’s even worse when you look at tanks and realize the only tank you can bring to high level mythics is a VDH and then “LOL KITE KITE KITE KITE KITE”. What engaging gameplay.

why do you think most runs aren’t logged?
