Over 20 mins sitting in a timewalking queue

And then they wonder why we logoff and are losing interest in this game. It popped around the 9 min mark but a healer declined and I been sitting here waiting since.

I queued for heroics on my baby tank, expected time was 1 minute, I waited 15 because people declined twice.

Good thing there’s other stuff you can do while waiting for a pop, went out mining.

DPS only players deserve to wait in line :dracthyr_yay_animated:

The natural evolution of queue times in a game with a community spread out across multiple different clients, far too many queue options, and at the end of what has not been a season that reels people back in.

The Siren Isle bump seemed to last about a week and now even that place is dead again.

Just wait for Plunderstorm and it will get even worse but even if it’s nearly empty the options for M+ groups will probably be the best they have been all season. The “spawn into map, collect plunder, die” quality of player will be doing just that.

I often run my alts through TW and sometimes it’s a short wait and sometimes it can be quite long. As a result, I always queue before I do my weekly stuff, so I’m either farming or doing world quests or even some crafting while I’m waiting. It makes the time go by pretty quickly, so I’m almost never sitting anywhere waiting.

Player made problem has player made solution

Such is the life of a DPS player. It’s extra confusing when it’s a DPS player that declines and it still takes another 10 minutes for it to re-pop.

I’m still not upset enough about queue times to roll a healer though.

Such an assumption. I play MANY tank and healer toons. I do love Warlock. Wanting to play a DPS sometimes but facing 20 min queues is why I am bored and losing interest in this game.

There’s no real solution to this, except the dumpster fire one that SWTOR did: make dungeons able to be done by any group combo. Which doesn’t actually work. Nothing is balanced correctly, people end up having to abandon, which means debuffs and even more grumpy people.

Best you can do is other stuff while you wait or queue with a tank or healer friend/guildie.

I think after 5 mins fill the roles with the AI from followering dungeons, then replace the computer players if real players queue up

Just play a tank or healer

All seriousness aside. these que times can get a lil crazy, i agree.

I do on classes I can…but I am a warlock!

Give ALL Classes 1 spec that can tank and/or heal?

Warlocks can give out healthstones!

Just play as a healer warlock!

The issue there is rebalancing dungeons again, making the AI actually work in all of those other dungeons, etc.

Follower dungeons are easier than Normal dungeons, with safeguards in place to not die unless you fall off a cliff or something to insta-kill yourself.

So I’m not sure that would work well enough. But it’s not a bad thought.

And exactly how did you want Blizzard to fix this?

Why don’t you try in the evening when most people play? Playing in the middle of the work day and whining about Que times is just silly.

I only notice a difference in queue times on the Horde side in the evenings, Alliance I find it’s ALWAYS super long as DPS no matter what time of day, actually if anything I found earlier is better for Alliance less DPS in the queue.

DPS are pretty good at leveling with delves I found if you get sick of dungeons. Make sure to pick up the quest at the start, the turn in gives a lot of experience!
