Bro please tell me when this is fixed I can at least get these back, because I am NOTTTTT grinding 10k Timewarped Badges out all over again.

I wouldnāt count on it. But if it makes you feel better, 10k is on the low end of what Iāve seen players lose tonight.

Donāt transfer ANYTHING, it seems.
Like, the gameās playable enough that we were able to 8/8M reclear tonight, but it shouldāve taken us like an hour and a half tops but we had to 18-man half the bosses due to DC bugs.
But this is infuriating af.

TBH your not getting it back, theyāll fix the problem, but they dont refund items or currency lost
If they canāt restore it they should AT LEAST give 10-20k in the mail for this incident.
They genuinely need to make refunding any currency lost by this their #1 priority after the gameās stable.
Like, if I had 60k+ Timewarped Badges and lost them all permanently because of this Iād genuinely hit āI will quit this game on the spot and will never log into it ever againā levels of mad. That is hours upon hours upon hoursā worth of Timewalking.
I mean iv lost TCG item on classic and they;re response was , yea we know about it but tell us how it happened so it dosent happen again, and of course they did not refund the item
I lost 64k to a transfer. It even shows in my transfer logs.
Report it in the bug report section and hope for the best

I mean they were fine with screwing people over for their little guild bank blunder. 15+ years of items gone and all we got from Blizz was a piss poor āOopsie daisy, our bad but we canāt get those items back for youā

yep I lost 5k yesterday. I guess the moral of the story is never let the intern do the coding.

I lost a bit over 9k last night. Opened a Blizzard support ticket immediately and the reply I received this morning was exactly what so many of you said it would be, āSo sorry, we can verify you did indeed make the transfer exactly as you described but thereās nothing we can do to restore the lost currency.ā (Edited the quotes as this is paraphrased and not an exact quote of the email.)
It included a list of things I could try that maybe, possibly, if I hope hard enough, MIGHT resolve the issue: Refresh UI and disable / uninstall addons, reset/repair the UI, and open another ticket, this time in-game. The first two did nothing, I have no idea how to reset or repair their UI, and weāll see what happens with the new ticket.
I just started playing last August and Iāve already put in over 1,200 hours. Iāve really enjoyed playing this game! But this is a level of aggravation I donāt need in my life and Iām certainly not going to actively pay for it. Iām still hopeful this will be properly resolved, but if not, Iāll find something with a better ROI for my time.
Thatās terrible on so many levels.
