Outpost "upgrades"

Okay, so far, I've upgraded 5 of the 6 outposts in Zandalar. Here are the rewards:

    * One outpost adds a NPC who gives you a stamina and an armor buff
    * One adds a ridable crawg which runs super fast but can't stop and leaves if you dismount it
    * One adds clickable barrels which get your character drunk
    * One adds tiny dinosaurs you can pet
    * One does literally nothing

Still one to go, but man, why did I spend 600 war resources upgrading those? When I started upgrading them, I was hoping it would add some quests which would reward some 7th Legion rep. This is kind of underwhelming.
Yeah...I did them all....then thought...really? thats...it?.....ok...well at least i got a FP out of it lol
The barrel is close enough to the tiny gnome flightmaster that occasional misclicks will probably happen, too.
They exist to give you a sense of pride and accomplishment!
im pretty sure the dinos are getting bigger each day
One of the horde ones adds wolves that run around in circles. I don't know when I will need them as pvp seldom happens in that area where there are no quests or reason to be over there.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I loved getting the outposts. Those flight paths are great. But the upgrades seem so... Pointless. The dinosaur one really got me too.

"I sent you so much resources and all of it was to get baby dinosaurs you could pet?"
seems like flavor stuff.

i just did an upgrade and i already regret wasting the resources.

wont be doing any more.
The ettin who lets you mount him is fun af.

I can run throug all stormsong with him! Is like a flying mount!

Seems like the crawg we get in Nazmir. He's one of the two upgrades I got which are actually useful. Waiting on the last one to see if at least half the upgrades are useful.
Spud, the fast crawg, is actually useful. I got him first so I figured all the upgrades would be equally as useful... oops :/

Yep. He's the first one most people I know got, and it was the same deal.
The scrapper is good 2.

i guess Alliance gets one right ?

Those wolves shreds Alliance players.

I baited a DK and a Paladin there. The wolf swarmed them and couldnt ress like for 5 min.
Easiest 55 honor points ever.
I was just doing it for the flight paths, which rep gated flight paths? EWW.

Who's bad idea was that?
I really like the outpost updates. Flavor is always a nice thing to have, we only use them for flying anyways, not a lot of reason to devote a lot of time in them.

not to the tune of 600 resources for what amounts to "flavor".

I'd be fine with it if it didn't cost 600 resources.

You will soon learn that this is not Legion.

Missions are not valuable except for rep. Not doing them is acceptable. They will never be worth much gold. You will get way more resources than you need.
That Crawg is actually really useful
Welp, got the last upgrade and it adds a scrapper. Which is pretty much like a fifth wheel at this point.
