I vaguely remember seeing mention of an achievement for upgrading all your outposts but can’t find the name of it. Also, the upgrade mission for my first four outposts popped almost immediately after I claimed them, but I’ve not seen an outpost upgrade mission for my last two. Can I do something else to trigger them?
I read all the other posts about how costly and dumb the upgrades are in themselves, but the completionist in me wants to finish up the last two and get an achieve since I already sunk resources into it.
They are “costly” and most times “not worth it” but they aren’t SO costly and SO worthless that I would recommend against doing them.
Basically once you get your rep high enough with the Honorbound/7th Legion you can upgrade the posts and start doing the quest lines there. Eventually after clearing out the quest lines you should get an option to upgrade the posts further.
I don’t know if there is a cheevo for it though
I did upgrade all of my outposts.
I can’t recall if I got an achievement, don’t have time to check right now.
I just did it because I’m a “completionist” nut. At least one of them is very silly, did not even notice what the upgrade did until I was on the forums later (something about little dinos running around then? yay?)
Thanks, I’m exalted with all the bfa factions as of yesterday and was getting upgrade missions as fast as I got the outpost missions before, except for two. Just now I looked through Azeroth at War achievements and looks like those achieves are the only reason to send people on a mission for 85 gold…
I have people burning all the missions off my mission table now simply to clear Azeroth at War achieves and maybe trigger an outpost upgrade mission. 8.1 patch might trigger something. My guild’s transferring to another server next week and that might trigger interesting things too.
