Outlaw stat priority

Hi guys, returning rogue here and I’m super confused about outlaw stats… I mainly play pvp and I see top players using a lot of haste gear and ending with something like 15% crit, 15% mastery and 8% haste, is this what I should aim for? half crit half mastery and rest on haste?

I can’t speak to PVP, but haste is more of a requirement this time around. At least 10% for HO builds and 15%(or higher) for KiR builds. After that it’s mainly Vers then Crit and avoid Mastery if you can.

Our auto attack damage is getting nerfed, so avoid mastery like the plague.

At this point in my journey I cannot choose my gear. My gear chooses me. My stats are what is dropped for me. I work with that.

It’s about 20% for KiR iirc.

Theres a lot of gear that has Mastery. Ive been taking what I can get in some cases. My Verse is about 17% crit is 20% haste is kinda low at 10% but Ive been mixing stuff some for ilevel until I get my bis trinkets etc.

Hopefully Mythic+ runs will allow more variety besides raid gear. Ive got enough high level Mastery gear to spec Assassination with like 48% Mastery unbuffed lol. I actually might spec into Subtlety because from what Ive read it mixes Mastery/Verse and lots of gear has both. Haste being at the bottom. They seem to parse well ST.

The biggest buff with Outlaw rogue is Rolling the bones 4/5 or 5/5. Dmg takes off. But the % to hit 5/5 is like 2%? But then you overshoot a crackshot window and your rotation is bricked up for a little. But when this happens its like a 50k dps drop at least.

Ultimately its about the 4/5 Tier set as when rogue took their nerfs the set was buffed.

You stack haste to around 10% for HO build or 18 to 20% for KIR build then verse > crit > mastery IN PVE. PVP in general is just as much haste verse you can get.

mastery has nothing to do with auto attack damage. its low value because marginally additional mastery doesnt add much to main gauche damage
