Outlaw Rogues, what hero talents will you be choosing?

What path feels smoothest for those that have tested them?

Choice is an illusion.

We all will choose the talent build that sims the highest.

Fatebound should work in theory but Trickster is way better.

The RNG of Fatebound is just too much to worry about when you already worry about RTB RNG.

It all depends on what your talents are.

If you’re a Crackshot addict, stop it. Get some help. But Fatebound is the best option for Crackshot players because there’s no forced animations AND there’s a hero talent that is dependent coming out of Stealth.

If you’re a Sinister Strike giga-chad, like myself, Trickster is the better option because you tend to use Killing Spree more often, will proc Unseen Blade more often, and while Coupe De Grace is still pretty bad, flawless form helps you out way more than fatebound would.

The real answer is Fatebound and it’s not even debatable for PVE. Fatebound is already better in pretty much every scenario and you don’t have to interact with Killing Spree which is a literal suicide button to press. All of the issues with Coup are also still present and it’s no longer possible to unspec out of it unless you’re content with literally never being able to change your talents again.

If you’re doing a key for example and for any reason Killing Spree kills you or Coup does because it GCD locks you when it procs meaning you can’t do anything so no defensives, can’t kick, and it forcibly charges the enemy any small potential value it had is instantly gone. It’s also not an “if” it’s a “will” kill you. TWW dungeons are extremely melee unfriendly and you cannot be animation locking yourself every 20s.

Adding to this, Fatebound also does free cosmic damage, which happens to ignore armor and, depending on the weapons/gear available, if there’s no weapons/armor with procs that do magic damage, Fatebound is basically your only straightforward tap.

Fatebound oddly reveals the pitfalls of Outlaw just as much as Trickster in some ways…

I will probably be choosing Far Seer elemental shaman

Fatebound by a good margin because you have to use Killing Spree as Trickster and it’s a death wish. Killing Spree has a bad camera and Coup has an awkward GCD. Trickster as Outlaw is a very negative gameplay and unfun to play.
