just picked up my rogue from shadowland. haven’t played him for a year or two. I noticed that the current meta is doing shadowdance and sub stuff with outlaw rogue. how much of a dps loss am i looking at if i dont wanna do any of that stuff? 5%? 10%?

Running ER KIR over the standard HO build is a 9% dps loss for me with my current gear. It’s a real shame because I miss the old build instead of this clown ambush build that feels like I’m opening gacha boxes on a mobile game.
I’m not sure how to use kir. its got a 7 minutes cd. do i just use it when i get like 6 roll the bone proc? what if it never happens, i just have a dead talent or wat?

True Bearing affects KiR so it’s not actually that long of a CD.
The goal with the KiR build is to maximize dispatches to proc CTO so you have some extra rolls and then pop KIR to extend them.
There is a fun Shadow Dance KIR build that sadly doesn’t not pump enough damage to make it worth playing over regular KIR or HO. But Dreadblades → Shadow Dance → leverage CTO for 5-6 buffs → pop KIR = good times. Unfortunately, it just falls over after that initial combo has run its course and you have to wait for KIR to come off CD to get that big burst again.
