Rogue tree
Seal fate - This was removed and replaced by where vigor was . Direct nerf to KIR builds.
Acrobatic strike - was moved to a worse position
Shiv- costs more energy now
Vigor - changed to 2 point and moved . This made it worse for leveling
Find weakness - removed
Marked for death - removed. Leveling is worse
Outlaw tree
Crackshot - this is the super positive but it’s broken because stealth is broken with subterfuge. For some reason they made it so BTE goes to no cooldown rather than making it so BTE has no cd while in stealth.
UHUH - A degenerative gameplay that made dance/vanish the rotation. The entire outlaw was balanced around having high AR uptime.
Fatal flourish - nerfed because of AR uptime
Ghostly strike - less uptime now.
Killing spree - This became worse and full of bugs. It used to be it would attack enemies from behind all the time. Now it stops working if someone dodges it or parries it anytime during the animation. it kills you in PVE. Costs way too much energy
Weaponmaster - removed, another nerf to sinister strike in terms of proc rate because they gave a set bonus and outlaw is worse now.
Dreadblades - removed
Main gauche - nerfed because the talent is 5% less proc.
Honestly, if crackshot wasn’t in the game outlaw rogue is just generally becoming worse with the iterations. And the fun part is it’s being nerfed in the next expansion

I know it is crazy to think about.
But from DF prepatch to TWW prepatch Outlaw went backwards for the most part.
The new survivability talent Precision Shot is a nice addition. Changes to Count the Odds and Cut to the Chase being baseline also are nice.
Yeah overall Outlaw lost a lot with the rework.
Edit: Ghostly Strike is now a cap stone talent which makes it feel a lot worse now.

The positives from the rework were
Grand melee lost the silly bladeflurry requirement.
CTO was buffed nicely
Precision shot was great to actually be hit mobs in the air
deft manuevers
the position of the early talents in the early tree being moved around
triple threat was buffed
general talent tree has a better flow for early talents
aoe blind capability.

I also can’t say i am completely satisfied of the rework.
There were a lot of good changes and some really bad ones. But with a lot of potential if only they reverted a few things, and changed some others.
But in tww… I’m not really seeing it. The hero talents are bad, the proc rate of opportunity is bad, they destroyed rush, which i get it they wanted haste to be better, but is this really the only thing you could think of? Energy regen is still barely passable, dreadblades still wasn’t re introduced/improved, bte still isn’t reset upon entering stealth. CTO proc rate still seems pretty low, but at least they removed the stealth increase portion.
Overall, i am not impressed.
Outlaw has a lot of potential, but that potential doesn’t mean jack if it’s not realized.
The removal of seal fate was also bad, but it was especially bad for sub rogue. Which also got some pretty good changes, but overall… I’m also not particularly happy with it.

Those are positives. But like you said in your opening post we lost so much.
Based on the performance in beta test, i don’t even understand why Blizzard wanna keep Rogue in this game XD. We have no BL/Hero, no Aura, no Brez, no team buff, nothing but DPS and kicks/stun. Look at the dps rank in beta test, except for sub single target, we nearly deal worst DPS among all classes. If i was a team leader, why do i even bother to invite a rogue. Just delete rogue, so i dont need to suffer from this anymore.

My only complaint honestly was the BtE cooldown.
They designed a class that’s intended to be fast paced and have higher APM than the client server can even handle resulting in bugs which ruined the feel of the class without even a simple bandaid solution to prevent this.
Vanished into BtE too quickly? Too bad, it only counts as a dispatch.
BtE despite plenty of time left on subterfuge? Too bad. Bricked your next window.
Sometimes I’m literally holding my hands in the air like Neil DeGrasse Tyson wondering why and when it even went on cooldown in the first place.
BtE from stealth? On cooldown. Why? Who knows! Screw you we’re Blizzard that’s why!
